What's the cure for this disease?
The sickness in my soul runs deep
And I can't seem to get a wink of sleep
Doctor, Doctor, heal my pain
Don't let it drive me insane
I'm lost in a fog of doubt and fear
Please make it all disappear
Doctor, Doctor, can you see
The tears that are consuming me?
I try to hide them with a smile
But inside, I'm falling apart all the while
Doctor, Doctor, help me find
The peace of mind I left behind
I'm tired of fighting this inner war
I need your guidance, now more than before
Doctor, Doctor, can you hear
The whispers of my inner fear?
It tells me I'm not good enough
And I'm scared it might be true, that's the crux
Doctor, Doctor, tell me why
I'm constantly chasing a blue sky
I strive for perfection, but it eludes
And I'm left feeling shattered and confused
Doctor, Doctor, what's the remedy
For this gnawing insecurity?
I want to be free from this self-doubt
But it's weighing me down, I can't get out
Doctor, Doctor, can you prescribe
Something to make me feel alive?
I'm tired of feeling numb and hollow
I crave to break free from this sorrow
Doctor, Doctor, tell me the truth
Am I the only one feeling so uncouth?
Do you have a cure for my broken heart?
Or is it doomed to forever be torn apart?
Doctor, Doctor, show me the light
In this never-ending, starless night
I need a beacon to guide me through
And I'm hoping, Doctor, that it's you
Doctor, Doctor, tell me now
Can you heal my bruised and battered brow?
The weight of the world is too much to bear
And I'm drowning in my own despair
Doctor, Doctor, can you see
The person I'm longing to be?
I'm tired of wearing a mask of lies
I want to break free and reach for the skies
Doctor, Doctor, please don't ignore
The cries of my heart, hear them roar
I need your help, I'm begging for a cure
To make me whole and pure
Doctor, Doctor, you hold the key
To unlocking the chains that bind me
I'm ready to take the first step
Please guide me on this journey, don't let me regret
