Does G-D Need My Unconditional Faith In G-D? Poem by Shalom Freedman

Does G-D Need My Unconditional Faith In G-D?

Does G-d need my unconditional faith in G-d?
Or is my problematic questioning faith enough?
Does G-d condemn me for my doubts and questions
Or are these too somehow the service of G-d?
Are my prayers of need acceptable to G-d?
Or am I to be punished for using You as means?
I don't know.
I know I am small
And will be a nothing forever without You
I pray for Your help
And doubt I deserve it.

A beautiful sincere poem. Everybody has doubts, but not everyone has faith. A little faith can overcome a lot of doubt.
