Dog Poem by Melissa Cutler

Dog

I see your tongue, so long and slobbery. You come up to me and drool all over me and get me all dirty and it is absolutely disgusting but I love you so I don't care. I pet you and you start wagging your tail. You sit down on my foot to show you affection for me. You scratch me with your claws and I get mad at you and tell you no, but I forgive and start petting you again because you are my dog and a I LOVE YOU!
