Don't Poem by EZEKIEL HARUNA DANBAKI

Don't

Don't see lack
Don't see poverty
Don't see pain
Be blind to wretchness

Don't hear miseries
Don't hear wants
Don't hear sorrows
Shut down the negatives!

Don't talk weakness
Don't talk losses
Don't talk failures
There is power in the tongue

Open your eyes,
See beauty, see the brightness of your soul
Hear the humming of the stars- your name in their song
Talk,
Talk gratitude, talk grace, talk possibilities
Look at the bright side of living. Always look that way

The world is not going to the devil; it is going to God.
