Don'T Ask, Don'T Tell Poem by Amy Lynn

Don'T Ask, Don'T Tell

Don't ask what's wrong
Don't ask why I'm crying
I'm alone here waiting
Where i have been for so long

Waiting to be rescued
Waiting for you to say sorry
It's begun to rain and it's getting dark
I know a storm is brewing

You know I'm head over heels for you
So why can't I have friends?
You have so many, fake or not
But I have so few, only 3 or 4

And you despise them all
How fair is that? I never get out
I'm always the third wheel
I want to be free, have some fun

But you'll get mad, you always do
So, don't worry about me
The tears will subside
Don't ask me what's my problem...

And I won't tell you that it's you.
