Don'T Come To Me Poem by Chaotic Life aka Curly Mer

Don'T Come To Me

When you're in need,
don't come to me.
When you're failing,
don't come to me.
I may be smiling,
but don't come to me.

Watch me cry,
still don't come to me.
There's nothing you can do for me
that can eradicate this hurt you placed in my heart.
My care for you has gone away
just like the pedals in a dandelion.
To find it back is a puzzle
A puzzle that I am not willing to solve.

I already gave you too much
and it obviously wasn't enough.
Yet, now you're coming back for more.
But more is what I can not offer you.
My heart will not permit.

Just let it be.
Let me be.
Don't come to me.
