Don't Compare Poem by Pierre Rausch

Don't Compare

Working out who we hire and where to put them
He is forever changing jobs
Compliments ever passed his lips
And where to put them

You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else

Lived in a large home in the outskirts
They do things differently here
He talked about life
It's as if he's moving further away

You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else

You should say something along the lines
And think how blessed he was
Cutting-edge fashion for you
That the airport was built on heights

You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else

Waitressing by the day
And putting piano lessons to good use
If he bumped into these
Waitressing by the day

You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
You can't compare this to something else
