Don't Get Hurt


how many times have i told you
i dont love you too
time has passed
look at it from my point of view
you were never what i needed
it aint nothing new

inside the house you bled
you wait for me alone
even though to me you're dead
and you scream at me you throw me a stone
just because i never turned around
doesnt mean i didnt hear what you said

here you are
waiting for me
there i am
asking you to leave me be

can you not see
i dont love you anymore?
dont get hurt but there is no we
our love is naught but lore
leave and set me free
i love you no more than i did before
it was just not meant to be

so please
dont get hurt
but leave me alone at least
and let’s start over again
