Don't Give Advice. Poem by gnrao rao

Don't Give Advice.

Rating: 5.0

Birds of all kinds,
lived in a banyan tree.
it was rainy season.
A group of monkeys
Came under our tree.
They were shivering.

We could sense it.
One of the birds,
took pity on them
and told them,
'we all feel sorry
for you.
We are birds.
We build our nests.
we feel comfortable
in our nests.

You have hands like
Men and also legs
like them.
Why do you all
suffer without Homes? '

' You know how the
monkeys are.
His pity was misplaced.'

' We became the worst
sufferers at the hands
of those monkeys.'

' we lost our nests.
We lost everything.'

' we learnt a new lesson.
We must advise only
to the right people
deserving
at the right time.'
Thenceforth we never
gave any advice
to anyone before
knowing his
mood and nature.'

Birds of all kinds, lived in a banyan tree are amazing and they learnt many things while flying. Lossing nests during rainy season provokes thought. Amazing sharing is done here.10
