Don'T Give Up Poem by Stacy Heller

The world can be pretty harsh,
Criticizing you like it's their job,
People can be harsh,
Saying things that make you want to go into the corner and sob,
Somehow we all get through it,
We all keep going and don't give up,
And for those people who just wanna quit,
People are here to help you to not give up,
If you are one of these people who wants to give in,
Know that people are willing to help you feel better,
A friend, teacher, counselor, or even one of your kin,
Talking to them will make you feel much better,
Don't be afraid to ask for help,
As the old saying goes, ask and ye shall receive,
Don't be afraid, holler and yelp,
There's no more need to grieve
