Don't Go Breaking Your Lover's Heart Poem by John Sensele

Don't Go Breaking Your Lover's Heart

Don't go breaking your lover's heart
Swimming in illusions of greatness
Such grooves and moves don't make you smart
When in the long run company you part
Unless you strive to restore heaps of happiness
Don't go breaking your lover's heart
Or else from your vicinity love will depart
If you don't refrain from unleashing snappiness
Such grooves and moves don't make you smart
Much as you parade your pride in a cranky cart
Sneaking into grooves of dopiness
Don't go breaking your lover's heart
Delving into clumsiness you've grown into an asinineart
Sliding and gliding into dripping droopiness
Such grooves and moves don't make you smart
Even if perchance you should conceal your shame in a ribald rampart
Where you assume you'll discard your unhappiness
Don't go breaking your lover's heart
Such grooves and moves don't make you smart
