Don'T Leave Me Alone - Poem by JaiLynn Zimmerman

your back is to me
eyes to the wall
forget or remember
I choose to forget
whats to remember if you leave me alone
in the darkness
nothing to see
why must you leave me behind
over and over
never ending ways of never really saying good- bye
but never really saying hello
i get confused
do i say nothing or something
words just ways of saying nothing
because your leaving me alone again
why must i never walk away
why must you be this way?
fine, we're over
say good-bye
not hello
never again
on rainy days i remember you
but on sunny days i forget you
choose to remember or forget
i choose for get
forever and after
