Don'T Let Me Go - Poem by melissa fox

Too late tonight
to see past the dark and see the light
its too late to keep on going
so I hand you off
to another day to start
and I rest my eyes
dreaming only of our fight
and I know you won't call
I know you wont say I'm sorry
so I wait here
like a fool
always the fool
waiting for your call
waiting for your apology
but I know I'll call you
Dont give me a reason to leave
give me any reason to stay
I have all this time on my mind
but i still can't seem to find
a hope or trust inside you
that lets me know
you love me
