Don'T Run Poem by Shalom Freedman

Don'T Run

DON’T RUN

Don’t run
There’s no need to run
Your running days are over-

Walk to where you go slowly
Look up at the sky
Look around you at the beauty of the world

Walk at your own pace
When you get to where you get
You will get there-

Walk at your own pace now
So long as you can
There will come a time
When this too will be taken from you.
