Will you love me as a friend?
To give me courage when there’s no hope
And make my life a glorious trend
Say ‘Yes’, please don’t say ‘No’.

I won’t mind your being my sister
If that would make love freely flow
Do I need some forms to register?
I’m fine with that, just don’t say ‘No’.

Allow me the joy of being your eye’s apple
I won’t mind, if I’ll have to wait till you grow
Honey, believe me, I’m willing and able
To wait, I will, provided you don’t say ‘No’.

Honey, can I be more than your brother?
