Don’t Try To Remember - Poem by Bill Simmons

Don’t try to remember
Must try to forget
For a love that I thought would
No regrets

We tried to be happy
Was not meant to be
I tried to love you
Look what love did to me

Moments of memories
And loving you still
Must try to forget
Know I never will

Although we so tried
The tears we had to fight
We know our hearts
We know so lied

But not over yet
The sorrows, the regrets
Don’t try to remember
Must try to forget.
