Don'T Weep Anymore Poem by Fadhy Mtanga

Don'T Weep Anymore

I heard you crying last night,
I heard you whispering so touchfully,
Unfortunately your tone is gone,
I heard the words from your mouth,
That you had lost a friend.

It feels like the whole world is hating you,
It feels like you have it on your shoulders,
You keep on crying every day and night,
Like you've been left all alone,
It's so painful world that you're living in,
That's what people keep on telling you.

But let me ask you to stop crying endlessly,
Shed no more tears from your beautiful face,
Let me take your worries and sorrows,
Because a friend in need is a friend indeed,
Let me rub away the tears down your cheeks,
Because I don't want you to cry any longer,
Nor to weep anymore.
