Done Deal Poem by John Sensele

Done Deal

Done deal, every event shipshape
All details in place
Processes and procedures take shape
As honour and kudos heaped on an adroit ace.

Done deal, parties ready to seal
A covenant
For Peace till
John promoted to lieutenant.

Done deal, plethora of goodwill
Prevails
Throughout territory but Bill
Tears damsel 's veils.

Done deal, rangers in twill
Camouflage
Machineguns at the ready deal
Rebels a routing ravage.
