Done With My Life Here Poem by Arjun Mathilakath

Done With My Life Here

Rating: 5.0

I am done with my life here,
Land where all people fear.
Sorcery of politics playing its tricks,
Lawmakers feeding your blood like ticks.

Vagrant is what I need to be,
Unblemished beauty, I want to see.
Beyond the sea I may wander,
The elixir of freedom is what I ponder.

The plains, the mountains I need to see,
Preying of Simba I wish to see.
None to care, none to wait
Like a vagrant I wish to navigate.

Farewell to my many dear
For I know I am done with my life here.
