Don't Come Poem by Shagufta Miskeen

Don't Come

Presently! assuming you come, don't come to leave
Try not to come just, to show favors
I have put wishes on my eyelids
100 candles of trust's lit in the heart
Try not to come to smother these wonderful candles
Chains can dissolve in the fire of affection
Sweethearts' predeterminations can change
You are powerless, don't come to tell that
Presently you come assuming that you love me as well
You don't come just to perform ceremonies

Don't Come
