A face, a name, a story told,
A life that others think they hold.
But deep inside, a light resides,
Where truth and beauty gently bides.
What eyes may see, a fleeting glance,
A fragile, outward, painted dance.
It cannot touch the spirit's core,
Nor know the dreams it holds in store.
A judgment made, a whispered word,
A truth unseen, a life unheard.
A heart can break beneath the weight,
Of shadows cast by cruelest fate.
We enter life with open eyes,
Beneath forgiving, endless skies.
With love as seed, and hope as guide,
A gentle spirit, deep inside.
But life's harsh winds can bend and break,
And leave behind a painful wake.
The scars we bear, the tears we weep,
Are lessons learned, while others sleep.
Don't judge the path, the winding way,
That shaped a soul along the day.
For what they seem, and what they are,
Are worlds apart, like sun and star.
We are each unique, a work of art,
With goodness etched within the heart.
So let us see with kinder eyes,
The hidden beauty that always lies,
Beneath the surface, deep and true,
The self that only love can view.
For in that love, we find our grace,
And see God's beauty in each face.
