In search of God I spent my life,
I knocked on every door.
I crossed the planet far and wide,
East, South, West and North.
I climbed the mountains and hills
And dived the deepest seas,
I crossed the deserts at my will
And flew above the trees,
I met the fools, I met the wise,
And ordinary men,
I heard the truths, I heard the lies,
In different tongues and lands.
And I grew old and I grew gray,
And I could walk no more,
I stopped my lonely search one day,
And then I noticed door,
A little door with little sign
"This is the home of God"…
I opened it and looked inside…
This door was in my heart.
