Dotting My Thoughts Poem by Sravan Kumar

Dotting My Thoughts

Ruins of my past hinder no more.
Wordings of my soul fear no more.
Its time to set the pace.
Glory awaits as I search for my mace.
People tend to rip you apart,
But heart tries to stay put.

Pleasures of the world keep calling.
But the woes of others force thinking.
Often do I realize my mistakes,
And always do I try to correct them.
I wish I had done more.
I wish I fared well.

Outcome of battles never mater,
When fought with entire might.
Love for life drives me to perform,
Though death never ceases to exist.
In the end being truthful to thyself only matters.
