It ain't the way I feel
I act the way I act!
Nor is it the way I perceive things
The truth rings in my soul!
You envy that which I have
Yet you have so much!
You want to control and lead
You say that's your nature!
You want to present a culture
Yet you rip things apart!
I welcomed you into my self
I accepted you as you are
I have cried
I have hurt
I have had sleepless nights
I have also laughed with you!
All that I do not possess -you have
All that is mine -you do not have
I accept and support you
You sneak and flirt to take what's mine
I have seen through you!
You call me your friend but you hurt me too
Water and oil do not mix
When they do everything stops!
So has my love!
