Dragons Poem by Michael Moorcroft

Dragons

Rating: 5.0

Dedicated to Joan Moorcroft.

They were in a small plastic bag,
There were six of them painted green,
Bought for 10p at the end of the day
And I’ve treasured them since,
When I look at them I think of you,

I miss you.

I love this piece. It's very reflective and I can sense the emotion that you are holding in. Once you realease all that emotion, believe me, you will get your best poetry. Go somewhere quiet and fathom all of an event that broke you or hurt you, and just start writing your poem. Even if it sounds weird a tfirst, keep going. That's what I did. =] p.s. u can always go back and correct or amend things.
