Dragons, Jerusalem And Johannesburg Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Dragons, Jerusalem And Johannesburg

The religions fight amongst themselves
The christian, the Muslim and the Jew
So many heavens and so many hells
But it is the lords who do stir the brew

I say to your prophets look to the east
And tell me truthfully what do you see
Is it the white fangs of the great red beast
That's sure to devour you all globally

Priest and rabbi do perpetuate this fraud
For they know it is just a pantomime
While 'cross the plains comes the Asian horde
To Africa through Israel quick time

Soon the red beast comes to Jerusalem
All your wars now will be like nothing then
