As I say my prayers
and lie down in my bed
I still have thoughts of you
running through my head

Then I dream
I’m in your arms
as in my ears
you whisper sweet charms

Those gorgeous eyes
are focused on me,
my smiling face
is all that they see

Then I wake-up
and the tears fall,
for I realize my love
you weren’t there at all

Maybe someday
this dream will come true
and, yes you’ll realize
how much I love you
