Dream Girl Poem by Glenn Bagshaw

Dream Girl

DREAM GIRL - 5 foot triolet-

inside me you're a kind of waking dream
where all my days are like a nighttime sleep
as living hand is stayed by scribbled scheme.
Inside me you're a kind of waking dream
and so abstract that flesh will never deem
to stock your volume - you, faint stain, will seep
inside me-you're a kind of waking dream
where all my days are like a nightime sleep.
