Dream Of Dreamers Poem by Garba Ado Ibrahim

Dream Of Dreamers

Your beauty and luxury,
Boasting the description,
Even the beauty of literature,
Is your reflection,
And you are young and dynamic,
The mother of action,

I wonder how easy you are,
With all your friction,
Look, neither the dead nor the living,
Hate your attraction,
And if the dead will be favoured,
Back into you,
They will give you the protection,
For you have been taken away,
From them no consultation,
And if the living,
Will be your companions for eternity,
Yet you have no tension,
For harm done to you,
Is harm done to them in all section,

Can you remember the faces,
Of the fallen heros,
The powerful and legendary poets,
Famous kings and queens,
Were twisted when theirs,
You, were over,
So they were far away and strangers?

You are being loved by all,
The dream of dreamers,
Regardless the positions,
you place your lovers,

I wonder whether any of your suitors,
Dare speaks to you in rude ways,
For you might be provoked,
And make some strikes,
Send them exile or put in your cells.
