Dream Warrior - Poem by Rik Bertrand
Crafted by the thoughts of a dreamer,
I have become that which is not.
I hold the future of the wisher in my hands,
I have escaped and do not want to be caught.
Out of the dreams and into the reality of man
I crawl through the dark of night to find peace,
I am hunted by minions of the nightmare world,
For I am the one to give this world a new lease.
The lord of dreams does not want what I have to offer
My strength is renewing and the day is coming near,
I shall attempt to fulfill the mission the wisher has wished,
My success, the dream lord does so dearly fear.
Close your eyes and wish me success in fulfilling loves desires
Dream all that is good and see all the beauty of the lands.
I shall be your courier, your messenger to reality,
Just leave all your wishes and dreams in my hands.
Dream messenger, the warrior of all that you dream
I protect and savior the good in your nightly visions.
I carry into reality the passions and inspirations of your soul
So that you can make the rightful and honored decisions.
