I thought it was love, wrong again
You had me fooled from the very start
I knew it couldn't be true I felt it inside
But instead I foolishly gave my heart
I was in paradise, but I have lost
I believe in every word you said to me
My heart rules over my head
I know now it was never meant to be

You said you loved me, I believed you
I never doubted your feelings for me
But I found out the hard way I cried
And there came all the pain and misery
I have myself to blame, I can't deny
I dream too deep that's what I do
