Thought I saw you when I looked around
Only to find everything I left behind,
Such a haze those days when everything made sense...
Now I'm walking through thickets of lilies
Only to find nothing
nothing, nothing...
Everything changes so fast
But I've come closer
closer, closer...
Never known where I'll end
Never know where I begin,
Only to find nothing
Nothing and everything
Staring back,
Back at me
Through windows of translucency
Through a fog of indecency,
Maybe I'll realize my dream was a reality
Where my reality was spent dreaming
Dreaming, dreaming,
Seeing, seeking,
Going, going
Never knowing
Merely hoping,
Hopelessly hopeful I would see you again when I decided to return,
Why did I ever leave at all?
I found nothing,
Nothing, nothing...
