Dreaming Of Bears Poem by Needs Noone

i dream of bears all the time
makes me want to come out of my skin with a slow climb
people sometimes tell me that it will pass
but i see it as a blast from my past

each night this event takes place
i wake up with horror on my face
seems like there is nothing i can do to stop these dreams
they seem to have been woven into my seams

one time i thought i was a fish in a river
just swimming around waiting to become a bears dinner
i would try to find any place to hide
but no matter where i went, the bear could get inside

i knew than there was nothing i could do
so i painted him as if he was winnie the pooh
now i am free of this horror that once haunted me
and will dream to a tolerable degree
