Dreaming Of You Poem by Brian Joseph Dickenson

Dreaming Of You

Rating: 5.0

Sinking slowly into the liquid
Warmth of your eyes I am drowning.
Enveloped by your gentle caress
My soul is soaring.

If this love I feel lasts but for a moment;
It lasts forever.
When asked have I felt this before
I answer, never,

My heart pounds in my breast
Near exploding.
Blood pulses in my brain
Over-loading.

My veins run with fluid fire
When we touch.
My mind starbursts when you kiss me,
I love you so much.

Our bodies intertwine
I'm melting.
I wake! Alone.
Regretting.
