Last night I had a dream
You were with me
God! heaven it seemed
A body of crystal wearing silver & white
To the heart an anguish
To the eyes a delight
With grace & glory the moon shone
To feel you to touch you my heart mourn
Tormenting desires in passion they float
Within my soul a contentment gloat
My mind craved to hold you close
To conceal you in my existence
so no one knows
Then I felt you fading away
I tried to reach for you
But away you sway
I cried I shouted
Don't leave me please
I'm alone I'm scared
no I won't let you leave
I woke up that instant
My sweetheart left
The things never meant to be
Can't be kept! ! !
