Dreams Of Tomorrow Poem by Atticus Mortimer

Dreams Of Tomorrow

Body torn asunder
and so my does wander
throughout this forsaken world
filled with hate, violence, death, and war
I often dream of a time
so far, far away
when neighbor greeted neighbor
no prejudices of today
kind peaceful, but this dream
is elusive, and when it comes,
it will not stay,
so I dream about tomorrow,
in this hell we call today
