Dreamy Imagination Poem by Nina gáspari

Dreamy Imagination

A dream
it was just a real dream
You turned out to be
exactly what I knew you would
Not one inch bitter, maybe half an inch sweet
My imagination
it was nothing but my mere imagination
trying to save me from a world of allienation
searching for salvation, and you
You turned your back on me
exactly how I had already foreseen
An ilusion
It was my ilusion of you
maybe an ilusion of myself
dreaming of you
Imagining somebody else
