Dressup Poem by Mackenzie Scholte

Dressup

Rating: 5.0

Before,
It felt like dressup,
We were pretending,
Just playing make-believe
But now,
It feels so real,
I think...
How am I
Supposed to know?
When all I've done
Is make things more real
Than they really are?
Made sheets into castles...
Dogs into dragons...
I've nothing solid to compare
But my dreams
To this questionable reality

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I really enjoyed this poem. I also found it quite inspirational, it kind of makes me want to pick up a pen and write.
