Driving Poem by Talmadge Rogalla

Driving

She tried to improve her driving,
And took lessons in her car,
Tried to move forward by pressing the brake,
And did not get very far.

Oh how we laugh and smile,
And how we like to please,
As we go the extra mile,
With a giggle and a tease.

Missing the clutch and hitting the brake,
Not knowing which is which,
I see a jam of cars,
Going right up to the bridge.

Over bumps and through a valley,
Crawling along a slow pace,
She stalled the darn thing,
And went pink all over her face.
