Winter Blues - Poem by Talmadge Rogalla

All day it rains,
The wind is howling,
Blowing down the drains,
Blowing through the cowling.

I feel so sad,
I feel full of gloom,
Another day of rain,
Another day of doom.

It gets dark early,
It makes me feel so sad,
The sun is hardly shining,
The winter blues are bad.

Please come spring!
Winter – Go Away!
Sunshine brings good cheer,
Joy throughout the day.

    a lovely poem
    giving us a charming wish
    for brighter days-
even though I'm a winter person
    a fine poem
