Driving Towards Success Poem by MAPATHA WALTER

Driving Towards Success

It is not easy
It is not comical
We perspire like a man quarrying underground
For a pure stone in a mining field
We fail like a bird
Trying to take wing from its nest to the river
There is no one to show us paths of light
Sometimes we loose optimism
Sometimes we loose mantle
We recess in the interior of our expedition
But our faith reinforces us
Drives us to endure the race
It is not easy and witty
In the hub of our failure
They throw us with curses
But we strive with force
It is not easy! !

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem the day I realized that reaching personal success and goals it is not easy especially for the community or those who do not have resources to make it possible to mobilize their dreams and passions.
