Drone On A Phone Poem by Sylvia Megquier-Johnson

Drone On A Phone

DRONE ON A PHONE
BY Meg Johnson

Experience the uncomfortable, DARE TO LIVE!
Ignoring those around you, unaware of what to give!

What happen to the days of pleasantries and expression.
They have become an era of technology and depression!

The safe little corners of those games where people hide.
Not knowing or believing the loss of something tried.

Wake up! wake up! Look all around...
You'll never know what could of have been found.

Do not hesitate to let your heart soar.
Don't take for granted this world to explore.

Stop trying to hide in the world of Facebook, text & game.
It's empty, it's cold and it has nothing for you to gain.

So try to be different and not all alone
DON'T BECOME A DRONE ON A PHONE!
