*"Drops Of Me"* Poem by Grace Femi

*"Drops Of Me"*

**A drop,
Two drops,
Continuously flowing.**

Personality so fragile,
Sudden aching of the heart.

Convenience brings them to her,
Drowning in pains like forever,
Depressingly fed on yesterday.

Yesterday — so menacing.
*What? Why? *
Would it have been different?
Questions, so multiple,
With no listener.

Needed a shoulder,
Got a foreboding ladder.
Where can I go with it?
How far can I stretch on it?

The eyes close to this in mind.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
*This poem carries the weight of unspoken pain, silent questions, and the strength it takes just to keep going. For anyone navigating wounds that don't show — these are the drops of me. Maybe some of them are yours, too.*
