Drug Abuse Poem by Maxwell Peyala

Drug Abuse

Don't fall for that blueness
The enticement it brings
Caressing your adrenaline
10 seconds of sin

It eats up your time
When you could have been on the glind
In that moment of sublime
Life's precious moments slide

They will say it's alright
Because they want you to be part of the pack
Wanting you to be around
Chills their guilty spine

Is it the rush you get at the sight of it
That gets you glued
Nothing but organised beliefs
You have the power to choose

Look around you, you matter
You need to be smarter
Than that feeling of walking on water
'Peter' will leave nothing but a hole in your heart.
