Drugs Aren'T All Smoke And Needles Poem by Catielynn Hubbard

Drugs Aren'T All Smoke And Needles

Love is what I need, Hate is what I desire.
When you kiss me it's like a drug that makes me higher and higher.
Silence falls between this space,
your presence surrounds me, and I feel blood rush to my face.
I am so happy yet I can’t speak,
My hand brushes the side of your cheek
As if on cue our lips combine
Lightning fast you’re so divine.
I hear your voice, not once does it complain,
the pins and needles shoot me like cocaine.
My hand slides down from your face,
As I pull you in sweet embrace.
Again and again we kiss together
Never breaking were forever
Then as quickly as we began
We break apart never planned
A sweet smile and reddened face
This here darlings my happy place.
Not all drugs are smoke,
my heart aches everytime that you've spoke.
