Dual Edged Sword - Poem by Cheryl A. Caron

The dual edged sword
An instrument designed to cut
It slices up or down
Really meant for nothing but
Yet if it is twisted or turned
When it is used to cleave
Then quite a lesson is learned
By the wound that it can leave
