Dual Lives Poem by Rida MMalik

Dual Lives

I open my eyes and look around
& all i see is that sadness surrounds
People smile but the smile is hollow
Because they take on more than they can swallow
All they do is to pretend
Without realising where it's gonna end
I see that they live dual lives
But how long like this are they gonna survive
Does someone else not see what a disaster this is
Living a life and not cherishing it's bliss
It needs to stop at all cost
otherwise all will be lost
