Dusk And Dawn Poem by Aditi Atal

Dusk And Dawn

Every day,
Looking at the dusk
Remembering the happiness that I have given,
Analyzing the mistakes that I have done.

Those different shades of dusk
Reflect me the different shades of the day.
Some dark,
While some bright shades.

Enshrouding the dark shades
The bright shades
Reflect emphatically;
The good deeds that I do,
Strength to accomplish the incomplete tasks,
And to give an inkling about the dawn.

And hence, on the next day,
The beauteous dawn comes
That sparkles, rejuvenates,
That cajoles me to feel optimistic.
It gives me the hope,
To learn from the mistakes and rectify them,
And have new targets and priorities.
It gives me the vigor,
To become a better person,
That can face the world,
And can win the challenges.

Oh! You ravishing dawn,
Thank you for giving me another day.
A day,
That again gives me reasons to get happy,
To do good deeds,
To make mistakes,
To figure out and correct them,
And have a sigh of relief
When the dusk comes again.
