Dying Embers Of Our Love Poem by Minnie Gehrig

Dying Embers Of Our Love

Breathe into me,
the bitter air
of dying love,
where evreything becomes routine,
Exitment dies,
the last embers of our fire,
giving off its heat,

Spark it again,
light a match,
pick me up n spin me around n
kiss me n different places,
N sing to me,
Sing baby like you you used to..

Drown yourself inbetween my thighs
until my veary breath catches,
n my hips rise,
Until my kisses become there own fire on your neck,

No,
we are dying here,
our love falls,
as leaves dance to the ground,

mortal now where once we were gods,
n the pain of the ticking clock,
the tv shows,
the dirty socks,
the same sex,
is draining us,
is there nothing left,
to say,
or do

Bring it back
bring it back
because its what i loved about you

Lets dance u nder the stars,
drunk on love,
or even in the bars where there heads turn
n they cant get enough,

or lets just grow,
become different people daily,
so it is not stale,
then mabey
Forever will be true!
