Dying Inside Poem by Heather Rhoden

Dying Inside

Rating: 3.0

He killed her by saying 'Good-bye'
Over a stupid rumor.
No matter how hard she tried,
He wouldn't believe her.

She trusted him
And gave him her heart,
But he threw it into the wind
And broke it apart.

She drifted through life.
During the days,
'He thought me untrue'
Was all her mind rang.

Every minute, she died inside.
She placed the blade to her wrists,
And drew the red lines,
Ceasing to exist.
